People travelling on their own from Guatemala-City have to catch a bus in the 18th street Zone 1 (in front of the gas station) for Santa Cruz Del Quiché, via Chichicastenango (3h), then connection at "La Terminal" for San Andres. The last bus leaves at 4 p.m. When the village is in sight, ask the driver to stop at "Posada San Rafaël", follow the arrow pointing to the left
Visitors will be greeted and taken care of by the person in charge
Meals are served in "comedores" . All shops down in the village.
